Stats and Key content

The stats table gives an overview of the file’s content, including:

  • Unique Topics: The number of unique topics contained within the file.

  • Number of messages: Displays the number of unique open-end messages, tweets, or similar messages that appear within your data.

  • Start and End Data: The time period that the dataset covers.

The key content table displays the top three topics and phrases contained within the dataset, based on message frequency. This is a top-level summary of your data and we recommend using Explore for a deep dive into the analysis.

You will also see the AI Summary of your data, which identifies key metrics and top-level insights, giving you a sharable summary that you can present to stakeholders.

Visualizations

Once your data is processed, you will see tabs with various visualizations, each capturing a unique aspect of your data. Here’s an overview:

Interactive metadata

The Interactive Metadata tab will present a series of charts and diagrams showcasing the metadata associated with your dataset. Depending on the metadata available, you may come across informative pie charts that categorize the data by gender, age, location, NPS rating, and more.

These visuals provide insights into the characteristics and attributes that shape your data, facilitating a better understanding of its composition. Just so you know, a maximum of 12 diagrams will be displayed.

From the Interactive Metadata charts, you can create Instant Splits.

Relationship map

Next, you will be presented with a Sankey diagram that serves as a representation of how sentiment and topics are interconnected. Positioned on the left side, you will find the sentiment, while five selected topics are showcased on the right side.

The lines that connect them allow for a deeper understanding of their relationships. The thickness of each line corresponds to the strength of the relationship, providing insights into the connections within your data.

Topics

The next chart is an intuitive treemap that highlights the main topics within your dataset. These topics are arranged based on their frequency within the data, providing a clear indication of their significance.

The more frequently a topic appears, the more prominently it will be displayed on the treemap.

  • Message refers to a singular survey open-end response, tweet, or similar

  • Message percentage shows the total % of mentions that a particular topic appears in a singular open-end response, tweet, or similar.

This visualization allows you to easily grasp the relative importance of different topics within your dataset, aiding in identifying trends and patterns.

Custom Themes

By creating your own categories, you can focus the model on specific topics, words, and phrases, resulting in more accurate insights.

Your pre-defined Custom Themes can be visualized in Data Discovery, offering a new level of understanding and exploration and the ability to create compelling reports that showcase your findings for sharing actionable insights.

Emotions

In the final tab, you will find an overview of the emotions expressed within your data. By identifying words that denote a certain emotion, such as "Happiness," "Calm," or "Worry," this visualization offers contextual information to enrich your insights.

Understanding the emotions surrounding various topics and themes can provide deeper insights into people's sentiments, enhancing your understanding of their perspective.
