Relative Health is our pioneering text analytics solution created especially for pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech and medical device companies and agencies to help them analyze and visualize their industry-specific text data.
The platform deploys a specialized healthcare processing pipeline, with 33 unique medical tags, which enables the complex, industry-specific language to be categorized into topics, phrases and words that resonate with those working within the health industry.
The language used in the medical world is very different from how most people speak daily. However, by comparing qualitative data, Relative Health surfaces differences and similarities to enable users to glean unique insights in a fast and scalable way, without the need to rely on workaround solutions or interpretations.
The first of its kind approach identifies medical language and reveals what makes data sets – and the audience segments, brands, or products they represent, unique and similar.
Understanding medical lexicon
For example, we compared how Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are addressed in online conversations.
What we discovered is that discussions concerning Type 2 diabetes are more likely to focus on lifestyle, with nutrition being brought up 2.5x as often and food being mentioned 2.2x more.
However, using Relative Health we also find specific medical subjects like treatment, dietary supplements, and exercise appear. To give meaningful context for health and pharmaceutical firms and agencies, complicated medical terms are recognised and classified in accordance with their usage.
